Example of general program content

Piloting a civilian drone, with regulatory procedures and declarations of theft, with particularities for flights in built-up areas, in so-called sensitive, prohibited, dangerous or regulated areas in the equivalent European scenarios.

  • Control, adjustment and maintenance of aerial photography equipment.
  • Verification of the aeronautical information of the work area, the feasibility, the conditions, the possible implementation of protocols, the mission objectives according to the regulatory scenario considering the drone used and its payload.
  • Establishment of procedures to ensure safety and control of human, technical and environmental risks.
  • Knowledge of operational emergency procedures in abnormal conditions in the event of equipment failure or intrusion by third parties into the overflight area for equivalent European scenarios.

For the civil or security sector, the professional must undergo training and a practical exam corresponding to one of the cases for which he will operate:

• S1 is the scenario of a visual flight, at a maximum distance of 200 meters, outside town.

• S2 consists of flying 1000 meters away, therefore out of direct view, always outside built-up areas and with an altitude ceiling varying according to the mass of the drone used.

• S3 is used to fly over populated areas, therefore in daylight. Depending on the mass of the drone, a parachute may be required to protect people.

• S4 extends scenario S2 by not limiting the distance from the operator, but by maintaining the ban on overflight of populated areas. For sectors related to the work of the state security forces, the professional masters the Civilian configurations in addition to the specific configurations of his activity.
